Ally caught the double meaning in his words and she smiled. "Good, let me think on it and get back to you," she laughed.
Ally just shook her head. "Guess I deserve that," she said. "And you're more than welcome to tell her that I have no intention to," Ally said sincerely. "I like her, she's got a backbone. Not very many people could say things like that," she said.
She held his hand to her cheek. "I'm trying," she said. "And this, right now, helps. A lot," she sighed and closed her eyes, feeling the ocean breeze run across her face. She opened her eyes. "Sometimes I just wish we could stay like this and never move, never have anything to worry over."
