AIM LOG Part 8
Who: Phoebe and Parker When: Night time Where: The Loft
Parker: With a lump the size of an orange in her throat, Parker burst through the door of her mother's loft. "Mom?" She yelled, looking around. Phoebe: Phoebe turned around and saw her daughter standing there "Parker, what is it?" Parker: "I'm gay." The words just shot right out of her mouth. Parker stood there, breathing hard from running up the stairs. She'd been in a rush because she'd been afraid she'd lose her nerve this time. Phoebe: Phoebe was in shock "you're what?...." it finally processed "Parker, why didn't you tell me this before, instead of keeping it a secret" Parker: "Because I couldn't tell anyone. Because you'd all think I was defective or something." Parker said in one long breath. Phoebe: "Parker, I don't think you're defective or anything, you're my daughter and I love you whether you're straight or gay" Parker: "It's just... not that simple." Parker said, sitting down on the couch. "Nobody else I know is like this. I mean, I'm a cupid! I should be an example of love for others. And people usually shun gay people. What was I supposed to do?" Phoebe: Phoebe sat next to her "well, you are an example of love, so you like women, its nothing to be ashamed of, and if people can't accept you then I say forget them, so umm you going to tell you're father?" Parker: "No, I'm not about to tell everyone at the moment." Parker answered. "And I would REALLY appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone either." Phoebe: Phoebe nodded her head and hugged her daughter "you're secret is safe with me, I won't tell you're father or your aunts, even though your aunt piper is kind of suspicious of you" Parker: "Thanks mom." Parker returned gratefully. Ok, so now someone knew. And she felt loads better, like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Phoebe: "oh you're very welcome" she kissed her forehead "now if only you're sister would be so kind as to take my word of advice" she giggled. Parker: "Not likely, mom." Parker scoffed. "She's got her own agenda, and it's got nothing to do with us." Phoebe: "well, she's a lot like Prue always wanting to go after the demons, and not taking any personal days" Parker: "I don't see why she goes looking for trouble." Parker said, shaking her head. "It's like she has no regard for her life or our secret." Phoebe: "I think she does, I mean she's just looking for something to fight or beat up, and when she gets herself in trouble she'll learn" she looked at her daughter “well, I should get this laundry done, but I’ll tell you what sleep it off tonight and we’ll talk tomorrow” she kissed Parker on the forehead and watched her disappear in her pink light.
