Week of August 17 Quidditch Scores
SUNDAY AUGUST 17
(Arrows v Magpies 2p)- Arrows and Magpies have a short, fast game. Neither defense is very strong. Arrows lose, 120 to 260.
MONDAY AUGUST 18
(Cannons v Wanderers 1p)- Cannons and Wanderers play for eight hours. Wanderers seeker falls ill during the match and passes out in the air. Cannons win it 830 to 500 with the snitch.
TUESDAY AUGUST 19
(Bats v Wasps 1p) Bats catch the snitch after two hours. Both teams keep strong defense throughout. Bats win 150 to 0.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20
(Cannons v Wasps 2p)- The losers of the last two matches square off. Cannons lose 0 to 400.
THURSDAY AUGUST 21
(Harpies v Pride 1p)- A good back and forth for three hours. Rowe breaks three ribs from a bludger hit and M. Jones crashes into McCormack and breaks her wrist. Pride finally takes the snitch to win 600 to 490.
FRIDAY AUGUST 22
(Catapults v Wasps 3p)- Wasp fatigue starts to set in, but they still outclass the Catapults. A slow game. Wasps get the snitch after the third hour and win 200 to 30.
SATURDAY AUGUST 23
(Tornados v Harpies 11a)- Harpies get the snitch out of the gate. They win 150 to 0.
