The game was a long one, Oliver Wood lead a total shutout with great defense. Stress of her room mates recent injuries seemed to take a toll on on Thalia Samson's game too. In the first hour Puddlemere got three goals in.
The game continued on for six hours before any sign of the snitch. The Bats were down 140 to 0, catching it could still save them. A sharp bludger shot from Ballycastle stopped Puddlemere from catching the snitch but also stopped their own player from succeeding. Another hour passed before it showed up again. This time the Bats were down by 170 to 0. Krum tried to run interference to hold off the game end a little longer. He collided with Puddlemere's seeker and broke his nose.
Puddlemere United caught the snitch after a seven hour game. Puddlemere takes the cup, 220 to 0. |
