In the Milky Way, despite the efforts of the Tau’ri, the Lucian Alliance has grown steadily in power and scope. Many planets have fallen under their sway, some lured with the offer of freedom after millennia of subjugation, some at the point of a gun. Armed and equipped with technology looted from the Goa’uld and other sources, funded by smuggling, extortion, and piracy, the loose cabal of clans clashes frequently, often violently, with the Tau’ri and their allies.
