Sex, Murder, Intrigue...
A killer is on the loose, everyone is a suspect, and NO ONE is safe...it seems that Voldemort isn't the only one committing murders around here.
More than one Order member has blood on their hands, old grudges are resurfacing, someone is out for revenge, a political war is brewing, Dumbledore has a Horcrux, sinners are being haunted, and no one, not even The Dark Lord is safe.
Crescendo is a B.A.M.F. AU MWPP Era game taking place in 1981 that has been going strong for over three months. We are seeking fellow Bad Asses to join in on the fun. Forsilvra was a kingdom born of blood, won through the lust for power, conquored by steel and brutality, held together by alliances, loyalties and ancient rivalries- so it is only fitting that by those same forces it will be torn asunder. The lords of the land scramble for power as the throne that once held them together crumbles, and where once one king sat there now stand eight kings, alike only in their ambition. Their web of intrigues stretches over the land as the last thing tying these kingdoms together, but will it hold, or will there be another conquest of the fractured kingdom? Join them in determining the fate of their world, for good or ill.
In this war-torn land, glory is yours for the taking, and any man may reach for it, but when one takes a leap, they must remember to first look, for not even a king is beyond the reach of the Lady of Death.

Forgotten Gods follows the deities of ancient mythologies, brought to America long ago by explorers or immigrants from their homelands and eventually abandoned or lost from memory. As their worshippers have moved on to new religions, the gods' powers have waned -- for a god, at its most pure essence, is no more than an idea, and an idea is worthless if there is nobody to believe in it. Some have passed, forgotten, from the world, while others have fallen into madness. Some have simply tried to adapt, to make a life for themselves in this place without gods, getting by on what little scraps of worship and belief they can garner. Others are more radical, intent on regaining the power that was once theirs and reviving their followings.
And then there are the New Gods. Gods of cars and computers, television and radio, cities and highways, all those things that modern Americans put their faith in. They are young, at the height of their power. These newcomers are regarded dismissively by some of the old ones, who have seen so many new deities rise and fall in their time; jealously by others, who wish to reclaim the power for their own; and by all with a deep, abiding wariness.
Inspired by the world of Neil Gaiman's American Gods, this game invites players to step into the roles of deities, old and new, to create their own modern mythology. |

Almost 20 years ago the world made a last ditch effort to curb the disastrous effects of global warming. This move to protect the world also doomed it to an inevitable end; it has been over 19 years since a child has been born. The world as a whole had resigned itself to this bleak future until now, the year 2051.
It was a group of scientists in Beijing, China who discovered the cure. They called it Hòu Rén (后人) or 'Posterity'. Hòu Rén is a serum, a cure that reverses the sterilization but only in people below the age of forty. In an attempt to not only capitalize on the joyous reaction from the public but to insure that the population will grow in the 'right' direction, the Hòu Rén community has been established. As China was the place where the cure was discovered, it was selected as the place for the first Hòu Rén community.
Scientists have created a database of DNA samples, looking for key genes that will create an 'ideal baby' and the people with these 'perfect' genes are contacted and urged to join the community. It is advertised as being on a strictly voluntary basis with a substantial monetary incentive. People between the ages of 21-39 from all over the world will enter the Hòu Rén community to be paired up with their perfect genetic partner.

We have quite the Doctor Who crew coming together, but seeing the likes of Captain Jack Harkness, Martha Jones, Donna Noble and Mickey Smith would be great, in addition to Toshiko Sato, Owen Harper and Ianto Jones. Whedonverse (Buffy/Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse) characters would be welcomed and loved, as well as more comic book related characters, whether they be from television, movie or comic book fandoms!
