This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion. Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly. Whittlewell is the capital city of the British Empire and is on the cutting edge of the steam revolution. Its advances in air ship travel and compact innovations for steam capability are the envy of the world and have lead to the boon in wealth. However the gap between rich and poor is ever expanding. Background Taken and Held Rules Apply Credit World’s End is a panfandom game focusing on the survivors of destroyed worlds, and what they choose to do afterward. Some try to eek out a new existence at “The World’s End,” a world many of the displaced arrived at after the destruction of their home world. Others seek to combat what is commonly called “the darkness,” the eater of worlds, and prevent it from corrupting and destroying even more worlds. Some study “The Door” at The World’s End, and the machinery left behind by Ansem the Wise, hoping to gain information that may allow them to restore the lost worlds and those who lived there. The outlook is bleak, and oblivion waits just outside the door, but they aren’t called “survivors” for no reason, and there may be a way to fix this yet. [20 Dec 2009|07:31pm] Ronald Weasley would be so, so loved over at busillis! It's an active, long term game that brings together folks from the first wizarding war and the second wizarding war, into a crazy, plot-filled experience. We've got ⅔rds of the trio here, and I'd really love to even it out. For those looking for less confined by cannon, I'd love to see Rose or Hugo Weasley, as well! [20 Dec 2009|10:11pm] It all began with the three Halliwell sisters. Six months after the death of their grandmother they found out that they were meant for more than the day to day jobs they had. They were witches, they were the Charmed ones. Foretold be their ansetor Melinda Warren before she was burned at the stake during the Salem witch trials. Together these three sisters would face the forces of evil. Though not all battles had happy endings. There power almost died with the loss of the eldest of the three, Prue. But still when one door closes another one opens. The two remaining sisters learned about another sister, Paige, who would complete the trinity once more. With her they would vanquish the Source (several times). And they would stand together to defeat the Ultimate Power and the Triad. After the fall of the Ultimate Power, the Charmed Ones were able to retire to live normal lives and look forward to being parents. Piper finally started the restaurant that she was dreaming of for all those years, Phoebe would continue working as a columnist and became an acclaimed novelist as well, and Paige joined the staff at magic school to teach the new generation of witches and whitelighters. It is now up to the next generation of magic to protect the world, and with the rise of a new Source and his government, it ought to get interesting.... It has been twenty some years since the Charmed ones were called to fight against the forces of evil. They have all been living life with their families. Almost normal, mortal lives until now. The year is 2028 and the call for the forces of good to join together has come. It is the next generations turn to fight the evil that surfaces from the underworld. There is a new Source who had been in power since the vanquish of the Triad. With his smooth words and rash actions he won the favor of the underworld and set into place the methods of the first Source. He had been laying in wait to reveal himself and now he thinks the time has finally come. Will the next generation be ready to face him?
