Come join us in the year 2014, with hopes of creating an even stronger military force, Sylar locates a child with a very special power and in attempts to use and control it he nearly kills the girl and disrupts the time space continuum, causing people to appear from different times both in the past and future all throughout the world. And people’s fears of these new people seem to be very well rooted – an overwhelming majority of these new people have abilities. The world is in disarray, the things that President Petrelli has vouched for and tried so hard to show others that he make a reality are falling apart and the world is reluctant to rally behind him. Now is the time for a resistance to surge, but will there be someone who would dare to oppose President Petrelli? The world is waiting for a hero, and beginning to suspect that the villains aren’t the ones they’ve always been expecting. Where will their allegiance lie when the cards have fallen? Wherever you were, whether you were sleeping or simply resting your eyes at the time, is long gone. Now, you're in the middle of the forest and beside the fact that you were one place last you remember and are now in completely another, something else still feels off. On your person is nothing except a small "survival kit" with an unfamiliar logo; two words in Latin: Vas Captio. The kit contains soggy matches, a packet of Tic Tacs, a pair of tube socks, a bottle of water, and a journal with a pen taped to it. When you finally feel together enough to get up and walk, making your way out of the forest, you come upon an abandoned town. Try as hard as you might, you won't be able to figure out where or when you are. And that glass wall looms ominously above. Welcome to VAS CAPTIO. You're on our time now, so sit back, try to relax, and just be yourself. That's why you're here, after all; we are very interested in studying you. Premise Rules Application Character Directory Canon Listing Taken/Held/Banned Credit Players must be 16+ Game rating is NC-17 for violence and sexual content Nazi forces invaded the country of France in May of 1940, officially solidifying their position as occupiers and the hands that held the leash of the French people on the 22nd of June. Homes are raided, the people are watched by angry German eyes, and lives are torn asunder as the Nazis search for Jewish families in their twisted hatred of the people. A very different force invaded the country of France in the very beginnings of 1941. Led by Lt. Aldo Raine, eight Jewish-American soldiers were dropped behind enemy lines for one purpose, and one purpose only. Killing Nazis. It is now 1943, and the Germans are well aware of what monsters lurk within France’s borders. The monsters besides themselves, at least. At night the men whisper horror stories they heard second or third hand about monstrous individuals; among them, Aldo the Apache and the Bear Jew, an enormous man who beats Nazi soldiers to death with a baseball bat inscribed with the curses of his people. They also speak of a man who used to be counted among their number, a man named Hugo Stiglitz, who suddenly snapped and left a trail of bloody and mangled SS officers in his wake. There are more individuals at work within Nazi Occupied France than just frightened German soldiers and a brutal group of Americans, The Jew Hunter, SS Col. Hans Landa, has made it part of his mission to destroy the Basterds. The French Resistance is silently conspiring in the background, in bars and brothels, to bring down their German oppressors. Jews, Christians, Nazis, Basterds, each have their own agenda, and their own mission. Which side will you ally yourself with? Nobody knows how old this city is, or exactly how it came to be. It’s not a desolate city by any means. Over 1,000,000 people live in Fallenpoint; the economy is excellent; and the residence are happy for the most part. One day the city, as if having a will of it’s own, begins to pull people in. Sometimes the city may invite a person, but most of the time it simply drags the person from their world into this one. When a character arrives, they find themselves in the central square. They find that they’re now carrying a bag of sorts. Inside of this bag is a netbook, the keys to their new home, and a credit card containing the equivalent of $10,000. Pretty soon characters find out that they’ve brought something along with them. Their own realities. The city of Fallenpoint has also pulled in several realities, and placed them within the pockets of it’s own reality. Characters soon discover that they can go back to their own realities, or to any other reality that is available. Those seeking to go home, however, will discover that their home world has changed dramatically. Certain events may not have happened, events may have been altered, people may be dramatically different, but one thing is for sure: Once you leave home, you can never go back.
