Still the cause of conspiracy, betrayal and murder.The Landsraad is an Original Character-only RPG based on Frank Herbert's classic science fiction Dune series. No prior knowledge of the series is required. In this game, players will take on the role of a House Noble, a leader of a Great House of the Landsraad, a Bene Gesserit or a Mentat. Your goals can be as simple as surviving and growing quietly to as extravagant as military conquest and destruction of other players' power bases. Here you will find a place for the statesman who wishes to engage in politics, debate and diplomacy, the strategist who enjoys seeing their fortunes, power and influence grow and the casual player who wishes to experience the grandeur, pomp and circumstance of playing a powerful noble of the Landsraad. Here Comes the Sun is an AU Marauders era game taking place in a Universe where Tom Riddle never existed, exploring what life would have been like without the war. There is still a bigoted undercurrent that runs though society and the tensions between blood and house are high, but without the black and white evil of Lord Voldemort the lines have become blurred.
The game allows for players to take characters in different directions then their predestinations in the text. Both Hogwarts and home life are an integral part of the story, allowing for character development on every level. Mod assisted plots will give everyone something to do but past that their lives, loves and futures are up to you.
This is a game for people who love the world and characters of JKR but want something different from the war-focused games. It’s a chance to enjoy a fresh spin on old characters or pick up characters that are often unplayable in other games.
