It was like the moon; there was no other way to describe it. There were times when it shone, clear and bright and full in all its glory. Times when only traces remained. Sometimes it was obscured behind clouds.

Then there were times when it didn't seem to be there at all, with no trace of it to be found.

But like the moon, even when it couldn't be found or seen, it was still there. It was always there with them, under all the years, all the pain, all the miscommunication, hurt, lies, and truth.

Sometimes, love never died.
