When Blythe saw the blue aura drift towards her, she remembered one of their earlier conversations about Alessa's split soul. Trying to not look too suspicious (she could get away with it better than most), Blythe's white eyes traced the aura, noting the irregularities. But now was not the time to discuss that.
"Hello, Alessa." She opened the door, wincing as a gust of wind came screaming in. "This should be fairly straightforward. If you have any questions, I can answer. But...thank you for agreeing to this. I know you would have, but it's still nice to work with someone as capable as you."
She lead them out down the lawn, leaving her walking stick upright so that it wouldn't become tangled in the scraggly brushes of the forest.
