No, she hadn't left yet. She just stayed there, frozen, listening to L. And as she did so, she realized that maybe he was right. Maybe them even being acquaintances wasn't a good idea; still it hurt Rachel. It dawned on her that perhaps what truly hurt was that she was trying to look at this game as a new life of sorts; and now that she had opened to someone, they were telling her that the right thing to do would be to leave.
She contemplated who else she could turn to, and confide in. Obviously Niflheim was out; but what of Asgard? Alessa was gone, but then again she kind of creeped Rachel out. George was out, because the guy was a serial killer, and no way in hell Rachel was revealing anything to him. The more she dwelt on it, the more Rachel realized that she wanted something to fill up the empty space inside of her. A companion of some sort, another person to confide in, so she wouldn't need to keep everything bottled inside.
"You're not supposed to have feeling," Rachel commented with an unseen smile. "Someone once called me a representation of the sun arcana. The card of creation, the happiest, brightest, and most cheerful arcana," there was a laugh, "My last name means 'bright and cheerful." She scoffed, and said, "I can create anything I want, but I can not have what I truly want."
