"Hey, no crying," he whispered, dropping the bags and pulling her against his chest. "You're welcome; it's all true." He stroked her hair, holding her against him and offering comfort. "It means a lot to me too, Buffy. I know there's a lot of history there, but I mean everything I say. I'm not the man that I was, and you're not the woman that you were, which gives us the chance to look back and fix what damage we did, and maybe go back to being real friends."
