Helena and Visa, Valentin's unnerving parents, were at last both gone from his place at the Ritz-Carlton and Valentin was most pleased to see them gone.
And because they were gone, Valentin could now discuss his plans more freely and without the added pressure of trying to keep those plans secret.
Plans for a vacation with Galen.
Possible job related plans, something he devised to speak to Galen about and it wasn't because he really desired to have a job, but because he wanted to stay in the country longer and even with the immunity he received he was sure that the last incident would not look good when he applied for visa renewal.
He had plans for the two of them to purchase a place together, tiring of the hotel they were staying in and desiring more...privacy.
He thought that since that he had been cooped up for awhile that tonight he would take Galen out somewhere to eat. He picked up the phone book and turned back to the yellow pages looking for restaurants. He wondered if perhaps he should ask Galen what he felt like having for dinner first...or just surprise him? |
