"Yeah, anything," she says, and they makes they're way down to the basement level, where the boutique is all set up, just like the rest of the place. As if the explosion never happened.
Lee wanders around and selects a few things before gamely going into a fitting room and trying them on. Kitty waits patiently, pleased he isn't fighting her or yelling at her. She remembers she needs another pair of jeans and chooses one while she waits.
No sales people. Still creepy.
He emerges and does a spin, and though she knows he isn't that drunk, she's ready to dart in and help if he falls over. He doesn't fall over. She grins.
"You look like a million bucks and it doesn't cost you a dime. Neat, huh?"
Then he asks why she's helping him.

Kitty shrugs and focuses on the jeans in her hand.
"The short answer is... that I'm one of the good guys and it's what I do. The longer answer?" She sighs. "Is... longer. I'm used to being part of a team, and we all look out for one another, you know? I just thought... I could make sure you were okay..." She bites her bottom lip, trying not to think too much about all the people she's left behind.
