"Yeah, I know some friends of mine who've been way too screwed up with their relationships." Pause. "Not that you and this Starbuck person are screwed up, but trust me. Anything can be worked out."
Scott and Jean alone were a testament to that.
"I'm sure you can take care of yourself," she says, watching him slide off the stool. "But there are a few barracudas around who might try to get you between the sheets, you know? And you so don't need that complication right now."
His towel slips when he stands, but she catches it and tries not to think too hard about that gorgeous body of his as she re-wraps the towel and snugs it at his waist.
Kitty looks up at him and says quickly, "Boutique. This way." She takes hold of one of his hands, to make sure he follows and starts to walk.
