She's relieved when he doesn't order another drink. It isn't a clear victory, but it's a start. She listens to his synopsis - she's good at listening - and nods when he stops and apologizes to her.
"Hey, it's okay. It sounds... complicated, but not insurmountable. Not if you really care about one another." She sighed, anticipating the next questions. "And yeah, I look like a kid, but I'm twenty and I've been there and back again, you know?" She shifts on her stool, wondering what to say next.
"Look, do you need somewhere to crash? We could hit the boutique - I don't think it closes - get you some clothes and you can sleep on my couch. I just... I just don't want to see you get wasted, and in a towel, for crying out loud. Who knows who might walk in and, I dunno, take advantage of you in your vulnerable state and all that jazz. What d'you say, Lee?"
