Mimi's flirty response died on her lips as his arm wrapped around her. She froze for a second, and then he pointed to the sky and pulled her close.
It felt odd, she still had a niggling voice in the back of her head, telling her that this was weird, this was wrong...
But they fit, so perfectly, that she pushed the voice, already much smaller than it had been before, to the back of her mind and settled against him. She didn't look at him, keeping her eyes on the sky.
"Wow," she sighed, but she definitely wasn't talking about the meteors.
