"That's what he said," she told him. He offered to bring her upstairs and give her his jacket. She was about to respond, but then he was hugging her and she didn't think her voice would work. She hugged back, resting her head against his chest. God, this seemed so perfect, but...
"No, I'm not, and you're not," she said, looking up at him again.
"I dunno," she said. "This place isn't exactly normal, but I wasn't expecting anything like this."
She stepped back, and took his hand.
"Yeah, I have lots of warmer stuff upstairs," she said, as they walked towards the elevator. "Angel and I discovered the free clothes, you can imagine our reaction," she said, smiling back over her shoulder.
