Who: Orsino Thruston and Kirley Duke Where: Their place When: Wednesday night(backdated a bit) What: After Lee's owl Warnings: I don't think so
He always knew when there was something wrong with Orsino. It came with the territory of being the drummer's best friend and boat mate. For one thing, the younger wizard was unnaturally quiet and had been for most of the afternoon, since the owl had arrived. Kirley had seen O upset before and usually his friend hid himself away, not liking to show he was unhappy or angry to anyone else. So the guitarist had kept his distance for as long as he could, respecting O's privacy for once. But now he had to know what was wrong, so he could try and help if he could.
Peeking round the door, he muttered a soft greeting, so he wouldn't startle Orsino by suddenly appearing next to him, before tiptoeing into the room. As soon as he saw his friend's face he knew something awful had happened and he had a good idea what. The owl had to be about Portia and the news wasn't good. Without a second's hesitation, he climbed onto the bed beside Orsino and pulled the younger man into a hug. 'I'm here... what's happened?'
