It had been less than twelve hours since the box had showed up mysteriously on his doorstep and Walden was already starting to show signs of frustration. What was the sense of having an awesome item if you could not figure out how to use it? It hated him to admit he needed help, especially one of such a blood traitor, but his desire to know was stronger than his aversion to the man he was going to seek help from. Help he was determined to get at any cost. A soft sigh left his lips as he straightened the jacket of his suit and waltzed into the bank, head held high.
There was a slight bang as Walden allowed the door to slam behind him, a scowl settling on his face. "Only dogs have to work on Sundays," Walden said with a smirk as he perched himself on top of the desk closest to Bill's allowing his dark eyes to settle upon the man. He didn't try to hide his discontent nor did he put up any false pretense of intending to ask nicely for what he wanted. There was no one there but the two of them. "This is how this is going to work, you're going to help me and I'll consider letting that rat pack you call a family pollute our air for another day." In Walden's mind it was a fairly good proposal considering.
For the time being, Walden left the box tucked securely in his robes. There was no need to lay all the cards on the table presently; he knew how to play the game. While he waited for Bill's answer Walden made himself busy by pulling open the drawers of the curse-breakers desk he was sitting on, which just happened to be Fleur's. He frowned noticing nothing of value or real interest in the drawers; a French-English dictionary, a Rune dictionary, some spare parchment, and a tube of lip gloss. Walden pulled out the bottle of hand lotion though and twisted the top bringing it towards his face so he could smell it, it was tropical maybe some kind of blend of coconut and orchid. It reminded him of a sunny day and he thought it was oddly fitting for a sunny blonde. Walden took stock in the photographs littering the desk, they would help him later if he needed to be forceful.
