Scamander was, now, a devote reader of the Quibbler. The magazine had caught his attention when he'd first been shown an article about werewolves that painted Germany's policies in a bit of an exaggerated and negative light, but he dropped any kind of follow-up when he learned that the reporter in question had actually been bitten and was Kenna Macfusty's brother. Kenna had spoken to Rolf a few times about her brother's condition, but he still wasn't too sure if it was his place to approach him or not. His recent success with Bertram Aubrey, however, was making him consider the idea of approaching Rufus a bit more seriously.
But not today. Today, he had a friend coming to visit him in his London flat. Luna had expressed an interest in seeing where he lived and he saw no harm in it. Rolf understood that he was older than Luna, but she was a friend of the family and a very dear girl who happened to be interested in quite a few of the same things that he was. He certainly didn't see the harm in having a visit with her to discuss these things, and perhaps the problems she was encountering with that student, Neville Longbottom.
The apartment was never a mess, but he still spent a few moments stacking John's presents beneath the tree and sweeping up pine needles to make rhe place look a touch neater before Luna Lovegood arrived.
