Who: Fiona Kemp and Natalie Fairbourne
When: Friday July 29th/early afternoon
Where: Diagon Alley
What: A random encounter while school shopping
Rating/Status:Low/Closed
Natalie sighed as she shifted the bag on her arm and glanced down the crowded street. School shopping alone really was a pain, or well, just a little boring. Though she had to admit it was nice to be able to go and look without her mother or father rushing her along. They had never been really comfortable in Diagon Alley. Then again, Li could not bring herself to hate them for it. She supposed if she was a Muggle she would feel the same way.
Any how, she checked off robes on her mental list of things she needed to do. Now she needed to refresh her potions ingredients, buy her books, and get a few new quills and stacks of parchment. It was then she decided she was going to bookshop last. That way she would not be carrying that heavy stack around with her for the rest of the day. So after a quick second adjustment of her bag, Natalie hurried into Flourish and Blotts to get her books. That was when she seen Fi; well that and she about ran right into the poor girl in the crowded bookstore.
"Oh, I'm sorry..." Natalie said quietly but politely. She knew the girl as a fellow Hogwarts student but she was not sure on the name. She was bad with names. "Are you school shopping too?" Natalie asked as she picked up the book she knocked out of Fi's hands and handed it back to her. "It's so crowded in her." Of course she was trying to make polite talk as she never had been good with small talk. As a matter of fact, this was the first person she had talk to all day other than store clerks.
