Again, for the second time in as many weeks, Penny found herself standing on Bill Weasley's doorstep. A month ago she would have bet he wouldn't have known her if they ran into each other on the street. He had always just been Percy's oldest brother; the one she seen at the occasional family dinner or holiday, the one she told she was jealous that he got to work in Egypt. He had been the cool older brother she had always heard of. Still, their paths had crossed several times lately. The Weasley's were like family too her so she felt she should check on Bill and because she was worried about him.
So, Penny knocked and waited for him to open the door. In her arms she juggled the container with the food she had brought over. She doubted Bill would be hungry but there was so much food left she couldn't not bring him something. In case he really was hungry. It was a motherly thing to do but she didn't care. Far as she knew Bill wasn't the best cook, but he had made it to twenty-six so clearly he could take care of himself. Still she shuffled uneasy because their last meeting hadn't gone too great. She was glad she hadn't told Bill what she really thought of his girlfriend's disappearance.
"Hi, Bill." Penny told him as she studied his appearance, hoping it'd give her clues to how he was really doing. "For you..." she told him as she handed him the dish and pushed her way inside, not giving him the chance to tell her to go home. "You're brother is coming too, eventually. He's walking Cho home..." She told him with a grin knowing he got the implications. "He sent me to check up on you, so if you yell it's at me and not him." Not that she would mind if he yelled. "But we both know how terrible I am at that..."
