"Of course," he stated about the colors, still not realizing that there was a bit of issue with him lacking a shirt. It was his place after all. If he wanted to walk around without one, it was his choice. All she had to do was inform him that there was a part of her that made her uncomfortable, and he would undoubtedly fix the situation. However, since she made no notion on the matter, Alexander had simply forgotten that small fact. His words were slightly sarcastic, especially since most Slytherins did tend to favor the green and silver without much thought. "My gift wrapping skills are no where compared to yours, love. Even so, I would have gone with the same colors, unless you enjoy shades of pink without notifying me."
The winter holidays were still weeks away, so he had not thought much about them. It was always difficult for Alexander to make a list of anything that he might want or need to receive a gift for Christmas, especially since he tended to get everything that he wanted without much of a hassle. However, if he has stated that all he wanted was her, Catriona would surely give him a hard look in return. There was no doubt about that as well. "A list is no trouble at all. One will be yours. There might not be much on it though," he stated with a simple nod.
Alexander had been glad that the blonde enjoyed the gifts that he had chose for her. Countless hours were spent picking out the necklace, since he was indecisive. There were a few that he thought that would suit her perfectly, but was happy with the one that was hanging around Catriona's neck. He had placed it on carefully, knowing how to fiddle with the clasp easily, since he had done so many times for his sisters and mother when they had difficultly. "A little maybe an understatement," he answered, keeping his gaze upon her. Just as she had turned her attention to the books upon her laugh, Alexander moved his hand from the necklace, and curled a finger under her chin. "You are worth it. I do hope you know that, my dear."
