Dean had been up for the last few hours, anxious to spend the day within Hogsmeade. It wasn't about the freedom of getting away from classes or forgetting about school for a couple of hours. He wasn't even looking forward to purchasing a few items that he needed in the shops around the town. There was no doubt that he had been looking forward to hanging out with Lisa Turpin, the girl that occupied his thoughts for a long while. If he thought he wasn't the slightest bit nervous or thought about her more often than he should, then he wasn't being honest with himself. There was something about the blonde Ravenclaw that Dean wanted to be around, and it was more so than he found her brilliant and attractive. It was that bit of something that made him actually want to hang around the library just to be near Lisa.
If it wasn't obvious that he liked the blonde by the way that he defended her in situations, which included actually threatening Draco Malfoy about their encounter in the library. As he thought, the boy was filled with cowardice. The only thing that bothered him about that short exchange was being ganged up by the Slytherins two bodyguards. Even that wasn't enough for him to regret sending the other boy a message. Draco deserved more than just a couple of words remarked back and forth. He would do that all over again for her, which did include helping her through any accidental mess that might happen, just like with the ink. As much as he was self conscious about someone knowing that he was that good when it came to laundry, that feeling slipped away into nothing. Dean was good with Lisa knowing that fact about him.
Glancing over the on coming crowd, Dean's eyes scanned the area around him for Lisa, hoping that she didn't change her mind about hanging out with him. It was still early enough, so there wasn't anything to worry about at the moment, especially since she had said that she was looking forward to the day as well. Just as he bit down slightly on his bottom lip, he had caught a glimpse of Lisa out of the corner of his eyes, which automatically brought a smile across his face. "Hey," he greeted her in a simple way, before opening his arms slightly to welcome her into a hug. "I almost started thinking that you changed your mind about hanging out today." A bit of a nervous chuckle exited his lips as he glanced downward for a moment, before bringing his gaze directly at her.
