After a little begging, Steph had convinced Tim to meet her on the rooftop. It didn't take her long to reach that location. Wearing in pj's she came to be sitting on the edge of that spot she had claimed for herself. The light wind blowing in the air as her blond hair danced slightly while she waited for Tim to arrive. So far, it seems the whole family was here. Minus a few faces. She couldn't help wonder if Bruce and Damien would show up or not. And if so how would they all react to that? Shaking her head, she remembered what Jason told her. Distract him Steph could do that.

Slowly she came to kick her legs lightly. Exhaling deeply as she looked out the town they had all showed up in. This place was like something out of a movie. But instead of actors, it was her family that was stuck here. Sure, she was aware that other people were stuck here also. But her main concern was her family. It seemed everyone was on some sort of edge. And by everyone she meant Tim.

Blue eyes would come to shift to the side as she glanced tot he shadows. "I was starting to think you stood me up, boy wonder." She replied as she came to feel the edges of her lips curl into a smirk. Her frame coming to a stand, as she took a step back from the edge and turned to fully look towards Tim's direction. "Hey, boy wonder. Miss me?" She said with a slight smirk as she bites her bottom lip for the moment. To be honest, Steph was a little nervous seeing Tim.

She came to look at Tim for the moment as she exhaled lightly. "He didn't put me up to anything I was going to do on my own. I wanted to see you." She said lightly as she came to look at him for the moment. "He mentioned you were unhappy and to try and cheer you up. But really, I would have done it myself either way. You know that." She said softly as she came to brush her hair from her face.

"Don't be mad at me?" She said as she came to reach her hand out to touch his lightly. "You look so sad now." She said softly as she let her hand take hold of his for the moment. The city was quiet. And in honesty, it wasn't something Steph was used too. It almost freaked her out.

He sighed. Tim knew that Steph would try to cheer him up, that was just in her nature. He'd have to have a 'brother chat' with Jason though, the air needed to become clearer between them before Tim would really feel better.

"I'm not mad at you, Steph." Tim replied, turning his hand a little so she could hold it easier. He never really read much into the hand holding gesture - to him it was just a thing girls seemed to do to take comfort or something. "I just have a lot on my mind to work through. So I'm sorry if I'm not much company."

He looked across the horizon, the buildings didn't look familiar at all. It definitely wasn't home. "What's the last thing you remember from home?" Tim asked somewhat out of the blue. He looked at her, waiting for an answer. "Do you remember Dick being kidnapped?"

Steph came to feel Tim turn his hands so she could hold his fingers better. She also knew Tim and not to think too much into it, even though it was hard at times. "You're always my kind of company, Boy Wonder." She said with a smile on her features.

When he asked what was the last thing she remembered, she frowned suddenly as she looked down. "Darkness, and then screaming." She replied as she came to look tot he lights as she pulled away from Tim. When he mentioned the thing about Dick she sighed deeply.

"No, I wasn't here for that. Cass and I came back to Gotham when we heard about Dami mainly."

Steph pulled away and Tim frowned slightly, guessing that was the wrong thing to ask. His mind ticked over what he should have asked instead but also knew he couldn't take it back. He should have been more mindful of his words. Why was talking to girls so hard?

"When Damian died, you mean?" His brow furrowed even further. "That was almost a year ago." Did that mean Stephanie was from earlier in time? "Dick was kidnapped around the same time we got Damian back. I tried to get the other Titans to join me on a rescue mission but they were too scared. Then... it was too late."

Now Tim had started talking he felt it hard to stop. He needed someone else to know, to sympathize with what he was feeling and hopefully help him make sense of it. "They killed Nightwing, Steph. At least, I thought they did. I went back to Gotham, thinking I would be burying another brother, instead there was a media circus that Dick had gone abroad with charity work and Jason had decided to stop hiding and become legally alive again. Everyone was lying. I couldn't stand it."

He sighed, taking a moment to pause before continuing. "I went back to Titans Tower even though I stopped talking to them. I began working on finding any remaining members of the Crime Syndicate. I must of crashed or something because I woke up here Dick's miraculously alive and had been off playing spy for Bruce the whole time. Bruce, Dick, Jason... heck, even Barbara knew that Dick was alive but none of them had the decency to tell Damian or me. It could jeopardize the mission. That's all Bruce cares about, the damn mission."

Tim realized he was ranting and looked away at toward the city again, trying to school his features back to a blank neutral expression except his eyes were a give away. Tim's tells were very subtle but the right person would be able to tell he was upset.

Steph came to look at Tim once he started talking. And the way he didn't stop meant something was wrong. She listened as she heard everyone lied to him. How he feels betrayed by his family, his father. She came to exhale deeply as she watched his strong facade fade slightly. Though not many would be able to notice it. Steph did. She noticed a lot of things Tim did. Even when he didn't notice she was looking.

"You should be angry." She said as she came to put all her attention on Tim, ignoring her memories of her dying. Tim was hurting and she was going to do whatever she could to cheer him up. "This place really is horrible isn't it?" She said as she exhaled deeply. She almost wished she would have stayed in Hong KOng with Cass, but then again if she had, Tim wouldn't be able to get this off his chest. And he needed this. To vent.

"So what are you going to do now, Tim?" She only ever said his real name when it was something serious and she knew this was a serious matter. Her hand coming to touch his arm and soon take hold of his to comfort him and let him know she was always going to be there for him.

"I am angry." Tim admitted, not wanting to look at Steph for fear he take it out on her. He wasn't angry at her. In fact, he wasn't even all that angry at his brothers and Barbara. It was mainly Bruce and he wasn't even in the same universe anymore.

Tim shook his head, looking down. His hair, which was probably due for a hair cut, fell forward and he reached up to push it out of his face. "I don't think it's horrible, just not what we're used to." He continued then, to sit in silence, trying to reign in his thoughts.

The light touch to his arm snapped Tim out of it and he frowned a moment before remembering he was asked a question. For once in his life, Tim didn't have a plan. Normally he was three steps ahead with several different strategies in place to account for deviations. The whole coming to a new reality thing really put a spanner in the works. "I think I should spend some time with my brothers. Even though I am mad at them for lying, they are still my brothers. I need them because right now I can't figure this whole new universe thing on my own and we make a better team together than we do apart."
