Molly's 13th Birthday Surprise Party!

Hosted by Daisy Johnson and Clint Barton in the Courtyard of the Station, everyone is invited to surprise Molly (at a safe distance, so no one accidentally gets yeeted) for her thirteenth birthday! There's a ton of food, a bouncy castle, a hat making station, and various games featuring feats of strength. Come on down and help celebrate this awesome now-teenager!

MOLLY HAYES was the star of the show, naturally. She definitely accidentally yeeted someone though I'm totally open to who. She got excited, ok?? She left the party for a hot minute to go change into "proper party attire" which basically just looked like a rainbow threw up on her. She wore a unicorn hat. Everyone who attended got a hug from her unless they indicated that they didn't want one.

DIMITRI BELIKOV showed up long enough to drop a gift off with her. KITTY NORVILLE did the same because this isn't her scene but Molly is Molly.

LUKE PATTERSON stayed. The whole thing should have been mega-embarrassing but it was nice to go be silly and not be judged for it. He wore zero pink. That's reserved for Alex!

RAPUNZEL offered up face painting services again! She's decided that's a fun activity and she was delighted by the bouncy castle.

SCOTT LANG did some minor shrinking of adults so they could bounce in the castle! He thinks this should be a regular occurrence.

Ben came for the surprise and stayed for the food and a short time in the bouncy castle before he had to run off and do some homework after he'd made sure to find Molly and give her a big hug. His present was a pink stuffed octopus. Because why not.

Clint had been planning this with Daisy for a while, but not as long as he'd been working with Tony2 on her present. It's an energy shielded portable pillow fort for when she gets sleepy after fights. The whole thing can fit easily in a backpack, enlarges and retracts at the press of a button convenient button, and can change colors or comes with a camouflage option. He was almost more excited about the present, but you better be sure he made a hat and played games and ate himself stupid.

Matt thinks Molly is a sweetheart, so he was willing to endure the noise of the crowd just to be there. He played a couple of games, asked someone at the hat design table to help him make something (trusting they'd steer him right), and had a good time even though he left after an hour or so. He got her an unlimited subscription to an audiobook service.

Steve was pretty sure they were on good terms now, and it wasn't every day that someone turned thirteen. He brought a tray of rainbow cupcakes and brought her a watercolor painting he'd done of Molly riding a unicorn against a multi-color sky.

Loki and Quentin were drawn as much by the noise as anything else and enjoyed some food before ducking back out. (Although Loki left behind a stuffed alligator wearing a tiara. No idea where it came from.)

I have a lot of people who love Molly a lot, oops.

Lila Of course came and probably would have helped Clint and Daisy with setup if they needed it. She brought Lucky 2 in a superhero cape and a little hat just for Molly. She got Molly a couple of books with accompanying audio books so she can read along and get more confident in the words. She also would have made some baked treats in rainbow colors. And Lucky Charms cupcakes.

Billy Y'all, even if he didn't like Molly a lot, he would have gone for the bouncy castle, ok? He probably would have gotten Molly a hat. With like, a dragon on it. ~~Cause dragons are close to dinosaurs~~

Allison As if she'd miss it. She got Molly a $50 McDonald's gift card so she can buy Happy Meals whenever she wants! She...also probably took Scott up on the shrinking for bounce house purposes. It's not like the Hargreeves kids got to play in them!

I'll be back with the others cause I apparently gotta work now.

Bruce DUH. I feel this was a family affair. Got Molly some cool kid science kits because science can be fun and not just boring hard school stuff!

Peter See above, re: family affair. And he's a quadrillionaire but the nice kind? So he probably made sure Molly got like, a cool new bike or something she might want but obvs can't splurge on cause she's 13. If you think he's not getting in that bounce house, you don't know him at all.

Stephen YES shockingly, my cranky sorcerer went. He needed the relief from stress wedding things and he actually really likes Molly. Would have snuck a few magical touches into the decorations, especially once the sun went down. Tadaaa pretty shiny lights everywhere.

Adaine Doesn't know Molly super well but what she does know of her she likes and she's trying to meet more people. She brought Boggy</b> with her in his little backpack. She brought a gift card cause she doesn't know how this world's shopping works well yet! And maybe pulled her out something fun from her jacket of many things.

Alexis and Donna don't know her very well but Donna would have sent her a cool card with some cash cause Molly was nice to her when she first got here and that doesn't get forgotten.

BUCKY BARNES definitely came. He was grinning and brought a large pink fluffy unicorn for her. Don't ask him where he got it or comment on the fact he carried it for three blocks so it would be there today.

CLAIRE TEMPLE was there from the get-go, and probably helped set things up. She was hanging out with Daisy, watching Molly open presents. She got her pink, sparkly nail polish. Because she figured the girl would appreciate it someday.

CAROL DANVERS came and gave Molly a model airplane. She just smiled at Clint when the girl opened it. Inside was a handwritten certificate to a free flying lesson.

NANCY WHEELER helped set up the party if she was allowed and also helped monitor the food. She was happy to wish Molly a happy birthday and celebrate with the girl.

DAVID ROSE reluctantly showed up if his sister did. He would comment there were too many children around and be grossed out a lot.
RON WEASLEY is just here for cake.

Crowley definitely showed up. He was dressed in black, like always. He brought her a giant stuffed snake, a red bellied black snake to be specific so it looks like him. With its own little glasses like the ones he always wears.

Steve - Steve went and probably offered to procure the good ice cream for the party since he works at a local shop.

Five - since his brother in law was throwing the party, he went. He had a good time, and enjoyed the bouncy castle because well he can!

Eadwulf is terrible at parties ~~when he's not trying to spy on anyone~~ and worse at parties geared toward children... which is to say, he made dancing lights for Molly that hung around the party until she was done with it and also brought her a stuffed bear.

... it's a way overengineered, surprisingly realistic, enchanted toy that changes appearance every hour or so. Happy birthday, Molly?
