The blood bags definitely aren't from the source but... they still taste better than what I was drinking.
Context... where I'm from, vampires are doing this thing we call mainstreaming. There was this big thing in 2006 where they... we, all came out to the world 'cause we had this synthetic blood drink called Tru Blood made for us by some Japanese corporation, and it was basically supposed to give us all the nutrients we need from human blood without us needing to bite anybody for it. Nothing for humans to fear, you know?
Plot twist: It all tastes like ass. Definitely not as good as drinking from the vein. I usually mix two parts O- with one part B+ and it's not as terrible but it's still pretty disgusting.
