Did you know there's a story about how Archimedes came up with the Archimedes Principle in a bath? That he was tasked with determining if a smith had scammed the king by not using all the gold to make his crown? Supposedly, when he got into a full tub of water, it all splashed out, sparking the idea of measure the amount of water displaced by the crown versus a gold bar. He also supposedly ran through the streets naked shouting "Eureka" on his way to tell the king. And now we have the Archimedes Principle thanks to a bath and a crown.
