You think after so many times being woken up in the on call room I would have been ready for an excited four year old to jump between me an Nic. It was technically our first one as a family.

New Year I think we need a babysitter so me and Nic can have a drink to celebrate.

It's a first as a family. I still remember our holiday together. In a way it's easier our dad's aren't here.

And we have a babysitter for New Year. So it's just you and me and a bottle of champagne.

It's definitely different now, but in the best way. I'm so happy we're together again.
