As a cog in the legal system, I know it's fundamentally flawed, and I'm deeply sorry you were ever on the wrong end of things. Maybe what I said was a bit simplistic, but I stand behind it. Unless there's actionable intent to do malicious harm or willful destruction that directly affects a person's livelihood and wellbeing, our thoughts alone shouldn't be enough to vilify us, and certainly not someone else's ill-conceived perception of us.
