Guys GUYS, I woke up today feeling no better than I have been the last 8 days and made my housemate take me to the ER (SO was at work), and GUESS WHAT?

I have pneumonia, dual ear infections, and was having a severe asthma attack when I got to the ER. So my apologies (AGAIN) for not being around much this last week, but I'm actually a sicky sicky-poo. Now that I'm on massive antibiotics, prescribed cough meds, steroids, and mucinex (which I've been on the last 8 days anyway), I should actually start feeling better. As soon as I get a good sleep, I'll start feeling like I have a brain again. Whee.

So assume Rowan (and Fisher!) are around and doing their normal stuff for the next day or two, and once I'm functional again, I'll be driving you all nuts all over the f-page once more. And tossing up some stuff on the comm from the mod side of life. :D For now if anyone wants to do short-reply type stuff, I'm pretty sure I can handle that on either character. ♥

Asking for input on character number two, and I have a couple of options.

→Kat Baxter is a motel owner. Brash, loud, wild, throws a halloween party in the emptied out pool of her motel every year. Most likely to give you a chair shaped like a hand for your birthday. Lady Gaga's face.

→Chintz Matthews works at a gas station. Witty, sweet, clumsy, still plays Pokemon Go and has a penchant for starting new collections and spending too much money on them. Karen Gillan's face.

So sorry to those who have reached out to me the past couple days. On Friday night I was in the ER, dealing with the agony of a kidney stone, and I've been sleeping on and off since then. I'm pretty much recovered now, so I'll be around again. But I wanted to say that I wasn't ignoring any of you!

Hi all! Since she's brand new here, I figured I would post one of these as well while I reply to the comments in her other post. This is Katherine/Kate/Katie Grey. She's 31 and while she's originally from Chicago, she's lived in the area for the last twenty years or so. Thus far, her life has been pretty happy and average with the exception of her catching her ex-fiance cheating on her while they were still in college. After high school, Katie went to Northwestern, graduating in 2011 with a degree in Art History and since then she's been working at the Krannert Art Museum. She met Nik roughly six months ago and has been smitten with him ever since.

Personality-wise, Katie is considered by many (herself included) to be more book smart than street smart. She tends to come off as naive when it comes to people and is most comfortable around her closest friends. She has the tendency to be taken advantage of because of her sweet nature, but instead of letting it harden her heart, she channels those aspects of herself into other things like her hobbies and her work. She's outgoing in the sense that she loves to have fun and will try almost anything once. As a result, she isn't too guarded with her heart and would do anything for her family, friends and anyone else who is close to her.

Lines of all shapes and sizes would be most welcome! I look forward to playing with all of you!

Since our illustrious mod-type said we could use this place to introduce ourselves and stuff, I figured I'd actually do that! I'm Lillian, but I go by Lily. I currently have Madi here, and she's a goddamn handful, let me tell you.

Upcoming plans for Madi include a pregnancy scare (it may be more than a scare, but I'm not sure. Help me decide!) that's currently happening but she hasn't figured out her period is late yet, a slowing down of her crazy lifestyle (though not stopping it, because she's *still her*), and hopefully at some point soon actually dating someone who helps her find a kind of balance in her world. Awwa, she's growing up.

Anyway, if anyone wants lines with the Trash Princess, just hit me up here or on Madi's OOC post. :D
