January 16th, 2016 - Midday

Well, it would seem I've come back to Hogwarts just in time to get to attend the Faculty Mixer and help with the Winter Formal the Bureau is putting on for the students. A little warning from a certain individual that either of those were happening would have been a little nice, but of course best friends can't be relied upon to actually keep you abreast of any situation you might need to know about - especially when they have such a history of being so reliable, as this particular one I've been blessed with.

For those of you wondering, I am your new History of Magic professor. My name is Mary Margaret Blanchard and I would prefer if you referred to me as either simply Mary Margaret or Ms. Blanchard - which ever makes you feel more comfortable. If you have any thoughts of thinking your last assignment from Professor Q is no longer expected - think again, I hope you all didn't take his recall to the Bureau as a thought of slacking off. If you have any questions at all or concerns - feel free to pop by my office, I should be available most of the weekend while I'm unpacking.
