I'm finding it hard to decide if it's a good idea to go back to school already because of the attack on the ministry. Dangerous things keep happening, and we may just be safer at home with our families, rather than at the school where one student has already died. My father says that this is reminiscent of some of the things that happened the last time Nyx appeared. We must be vigilant

[Private to Ben]

So think you want to ride with me on the train, or are you gonna be busy with your slytherin friends?

Not respecting that fear? Just as moronic.

If something is to happen, probably doesn't matter where you are.

Ministry isn't safe, then nowhere is. Cannot live by constantly hiding.

"The general who advances without coveting fame and retreats without fearing disgrace, whose only thought is to protect his country and do good service for his sovereign, is the jewel of the kingdom." Art of War.

Knowing when to retreat, when to take account of your opponent; knowing when to admit defeat in a battle, to recollect yourself in order to win in a war, is essential.

Standing up just to prove your bravery, is just as foolish as constantly hiding. Holding back, and thinking, can be valuable in a fight. Don't be so fast to call an action moronic when it can, at times, make strategic sense.

Inciting fear means inciting actions caused by fear. Slytherin. Don't care about bravery. Just rather not get hurt because of the excessive fears of others.

I am not attempting to incite action by fear, but caution. We've had a student die, but no increase in our security, no open dialogue about who it could have been that killed them.

Restrictions didn't happen? Supervision? Was that a dream then?

They did, and when the school thought that everything was fine, it was all lifted, but there has been no suspects or capture for the killer, so for all we know, they could just be biding their time. Any smart killer would.

Edge of grounds. Could be anyone. Could have been outsider.

Except for it was known that the barriers were up and he was within it. So either someone was able to get in, which they should not, someone was within, or someone let them in. All three are troubling.

And home is safer? Fewer protections in most houses.

It really depends and my comments were meant to be taken as a personal view and what my father said to me. It was not a call to arms as Tracey takes it. I do honestly think that we should have better protection, or at least some idea what the school is doing for our safety.

Misinterpretation happens. Sorry.

It's fine and I'm sorry for fighting over it too. I reread it and realized that the comment about being vigilant could be taken as either me saying it or my father's comment as it was.
