EVENT #5
The carnival will be celebrating Christmas - it’s important to have some cheer in these troubled times. There will be a tree - feel free to have your character(s) help to decorate it (and other areas if they wish). They’re also welcome to put presents beneath it. Overnight on the 24th/25th gifts for each character will appear under the tree. Following on from the memories, these will be something from home - either an actual item (within reason ;) or a reminder (perhaps someone they’re missing really likes dolphins so maybe they’ll get a dolphin trinket ..something like that (but better ;)). In addition to the tree and presents, there will be a big lunch in the cookhouse. Everyone will be expected and accepted! :) Following that there will be a much more relaxed ‘come and go as you please’ evening meal. The carnival won’t be open, so everyone can eat and gift and otherwise relax. ★ Start Date: Wednesday December 25th ★ End Date: Wednesday December 25th |
What food will there be? There will be roast meats and vegetables, though the portions will have to be limited both due to availability and the fact that huge roast meals aren’t the easiest to prepare with what they have. There will be stewed and other vegetables though. Broths, pies.. and there will be pudding! And custard. And eggnog, hot cider, mulled wine, etc.. So there’s no real plot for this month? Not really, no. Just Christmas and New Year events. It’s a pretty busy time for most folk so keeping it relaxed seemed best. I was wondering.. Please ask any questions in the comments. :) |
