Activity Check (September)
Hi folks.
It’s activity check time. If you’re wondering what the heck this is all about, check the FAQ. To summarise, though, we use a points based system to keep abreast of player and character activity. Players can then use their character’s points to purchase things for them. These points will be available once checks are over (you can check your character’s current tally here). Checks last for one week.
Let’s get down to business though. There are a couple of forms below. The first, thankfully, is the one to copy and paste first - it includes a few questions for you as a player before getting into the points tallying. The second is only relevant to those of you with more than one character - it’s a blank character tally form to paste below the first.
Hopefully things are clear enough in the forms themselves. But as a general rule, if there are words in CAPS they should be read, deleted and their instructions followed. If there are words in [square brackets] they should be replaced with what they say/the result of a calculation.
All players are expected to check in and tally their own points (this is where tags come in handy). The activity requirement is a total of 35 points and at least one thread/log per month. You don’t have to meet these requirements on characters that have been introduced in the past fortnight though. Exceptions may also be made for the characters of players who have been on hiatus throughout the month. Though given that this has been the first month and a number of people have had to take time away from the game for various reasons, we're not going to worry too much about every character meeting this. But in future we will contact people if their characters don't meet the requirements and should have. Anyway, onto the forms -
