Logan hadn't paid much attention to the bulletin board, to the fluttering bits of paper. He wasn't interested in carrying on a conversation through public notes, and he wasn't interested (as far as he knew) in whatever was being stuck up there. In the course of his travels, he passed by the board, and a shift of the breeze carried a very familiar smell with it. His head whipped toward the board, and he moved toward it, catching the faint scent of her that lingered. He riffled through the notes until he came across the one that smelled most of her. The words fit, and his lips lifted in an animalistic snarl he was barely aware of. If they were making her -- He had half a mind to snatch the note down, to shred it, but he didn't. He didn't like the idea of it being out there for everyone to read, but she might have had a reason for putting it up there. Turning away, he inhaled and turned his head. Scenting the air, he tried to track the direction her smell was strongest in. Even if he couldn't find her, there might be someone around who'd seen her, who could tell him where she was. He had a performance, but that was later. He could spend the time between looking for her until he had to report to the arena, to perform for the crowd before he could escape again. If he hadn't found her by then, maybe he would've crossed paths with the girl who could find people, or someone he could ask to keep an eye out for her. Moving quickly, and with a purpose, Logan left the back lot area and headed toward the more populated areas, figuring his luck might be better there. If she was involved in some act somewhere, maybe he'd come across her in one of the tents. He'd check them as he came across them and see what he could find out. |
