Olive was in the mood for a walk. She was going stir crazy sitting in her tent. She hadn't been out much other than practice and shows as of late since they had all been so busy. So, she was welcoming the chance to go out and do something that didn't involve work. She had asked if anyone wanted to go with her, because she wasn't in the mood to be alone right now either. Every time she was alone all she could was think about her friends and her family and how much she missed them. She was also pleased when Jack was the one to respond. She had liked him from the moment she met him. He seemed like one of those people that she could really be friends with. She had to admit it was nice to have those again. She hadn't been sure if she would be able to make any in this strange place. She didn't really have the best people skills. She got along with people well enough, but for some reason she found herself feeling the need to fit in and she didn't want that for herself. She wanted to be her own person, even if it was hard. It was something she was striving for and she wouldn't ever give up on. Once she was dressed in the jeans and black top she had decided on she left her tent. She knew the walk there wouldn't take her long either way, so she took her time. It was nice to not have to be in a hurry for a change. She actually could look around her and take in the sights. She would say one thing about this carnival...at least she got to see some very beautiful places. She finally came upon her destination, and she looked down at her watch only to realize that she was early. So, she decided to just relax and wait for him. She made her way over to a bench that was there and took a seat. The wait would do her some good, give her some more time out in the fresh air. She leaned back and actually closed her eyes for a few moments. Soon enough she was lost in her thoughts, but it wasn't long before she heard approaching footsteps. Since she thought it might be Jack she opened her eyes once again and looked around. |
