Caroline Forbes was freaking out. And it wasn't just a little freak out, it was full blown. How was this even possible? She was suddenly in the 1930s and told she had a job to do? Did she look like a cotton candy sales girl, really? This was insane. She thought she was dreaming at first, but she quickly realized this was actually happening. Did they actually think she would wear these horrible clothes? No way. No one told Caroline Forbes what to do. Around her, there were others freaking out too. She didn't blame them. The ones who were just accepting this, she couldn't seem to understand. It could be argued, yes, that there was nothing they could do. But that didn't mean giving up, did it? She wasn't willing to. Not so easily. She guessed it wasn't even a big deal that she was stuck in the 30s, it wasn't like she'd get any older. She could still make it back to 2010. Things would be much harder here, though. She doubted anyone had a large supply of blood bags on hand. And that meant that she would have to be compelling people. She stood there, highly annoyed, with the clothes and shoes and everything else that had been dumped on her, in her arms. This was really happening. She was really going to be part of a traveling Carnival from the 1930s. She found herself wondering what Klaus would think of all this. Maybe he'd be amused. She was supposed to be setting up the cotton candy or whatever by now, but she didn't want to. This was not something she was going to take lightly. Caroline glanced around, trying to figure out what to do. She was slightly more calm than she'd been when she first arrived. Poor chap that greeted her probably wasn't expecting her to react in such a frightening way. But no one had been hurt, so she didn't think it was that big of a deal. She rolled her eyes and started to stalk off so she could get changed or at least put all this stupid stuff down. She was supposed to be getting ready for college not to sell cotton candy. |
