Ron-a-Thon Fundraiser
Our Fundraiser was an amazing success!  Thank you to everyone who participated, from the authors and artists to those who bid anytime during the last two weeks (even those who outbid me for the artist I bid for).

With the funds raised, we've already renewed our accounts for three years, which should take us right through to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II in May 2011.

The Captains cannot express how much our readers and fans mean to us, especially when they help us with such an outpouring of support, both verbally and financially.  We're overwhelmed by your generosity.

Ron-a-Thon

Ron-A-Thon: A silent auction to keep TQP online

This Ron-a-thon is a two-week, silent auction to help keep The Quidditch Pitch online.  In just two years, the site has grown from 200 members to over 12,000.  We have been funding the site ourselves since the very beginning, almost three years ago.  But we need assistance this year to pay for web hosting and a variety of other expenses that go with running the site.

We appreciate all your support as members and authors over the last two years and would send Ron to you, but Annie refuses to allow him to leave her sight.  There might a be court order involved but we have learned not to ask about those things.

Fundraiser Rules and Regulations
  1. You may bid as many times as you like in order to win.
  2. Bids will close on the 16th of March and winners notified.
  3. Payment must be made within one week of the end of the auction.  Paypal is our preferred method of payment.
  4. Request for pairing and prompts will be accepted once payment transaction is complete.
  5. The Author/Artist will have until May 15th to complete all stories and artwork.
Please click the banner to view and bid on all the Authors and Artists.

Our fundraiser ends in less than 24 hours!  The last chance to bid is Sunday, 16 March 2008 at 9:59 p.m. EDT.

Quaffle Talk - Seeking Fan Boys!
Do you have a burning passion to make your views about Harry Potter known?  Do you want an opportunity to discuss slash, het, gen, and of course your favorite character?  The Quidditch Pitch has a deal for you!  For just 39.95 19.95 free you can join us in recording a segment for Quaffle Talk.  We're searching for men -- short or tall, with a sense of humor, and quite frankly men who are not offended by the insanity that is the Captains of the Quidditch Pitch.

Comment to this post or email the Captains at thecaptains@thequidditchpitch.org and we'll get you all the details out ASAP!

Warning participating in Quaffle Talk should not be done while drinking hot liquids. The Captains are not responsible for a decrease in intelligence, spontaneous and uncontrollable laughter, and Deena, Dream Wia Dream, Auntee Mame, Simons Flower, and Annie take no responsible and lay no claim to the antics of Madam Minnie.
