Hello you glorious people you.

I am excited to say that my directory is back and image corrected! Images on all posts should be working again. I'd like to thank [info]bajah for being absolutely marvelous and going out of his way today to help me make sense of domains and get things set up for iconners. What a prince! Also a thank you to [info]doingthemost for helping me learn in the first place how to use correct urls for images. /facepalm I'm a work in progress. I still have space if any other iconners need to host their stuff.

So I'm back on the capping train! I know some of you iconners are busy backing up your old files right now and might not have time for new ones. I'll keep working on requests, but let me know if you'd like me to pause on yours until you're ready!

I highly recommend the one Matt mentioned, AMS. They legit had my page up within AN HOUR of requesting it.

I was considering them but their TOS says they limit to 10,000 inodes (files) while Namecheap says 300,000

I chatted with the help desk and they said they pretty much have never enforced the rule, it's in case someone uploads so many things the server messes up. The other people I know who have it have gone past 10k without trouble.

OOH well that is good to know. I had a hard cap on Bounceweb. Do you have Cpanel access? Does it say anywhere what your file limit is?

This is what the nice customer rep told me (LITERALLY 30 MINUTES AFTER I PUT IN A TICKET, THESE PEOPLE ARE MAGIC): "That is not a hard limit, as long as your account did not cause issues on the server it would not be enforced. I don't recall it ever being enforced. So I would not be too concerned with that!"

Yes I'm in the Cpanel, hold on trying to see if I can find if it says limit anywhere.

In the cPanel all I see is how much disc usage, and then unlimited domains, bandwidth, FTP accounts, databases, subdomains.

MAYBE it's because I bought a specific amount of space? I bought the 80 gb one which is basically the same price as BounceWeb and since we're using so very little of that it's not even a tiny sliver on the disc space or general place.

Yeah looking at this it seems like they actually rate things by disc space used, not by number of files. Which seems obvious if you buy a specific plan.
