Yikes! Like everyone else ever, my images have messed up, so I'll be fixing those for my caps and directory. I went ahead and bought myself my own domain because I've wanted to launch my own website for awhile. Plus SOME DAY I plan on learning how to icon so I'll have that. PS iconners who are struggling, let me know, I would be happy to help host you for free. charlottebronte also mentioned being willing to do the same.

Unrelated but I added two new tags *requested and ! no icons (at least that I'm aware of) so if people are looking for not iconned sets I have as inspiration, it'll show up. ...which was more helpful when icon sets weren't wrecked thanks to photobucket. Jerrrrks.

I am working on some sets right now, including some popular movies that I've wanted to do for the shiny faces in them. If people have movie requests those are ALWAYS easier than TV shows, although obviously I am happy to do TV as long as I can find it. :)

Right? I feel like they could have at least sent out an email to all of their users at the beginning of the month, like '...we're stopping a service we've provided all these years. Get ready.' This feels cruel and unusual.

I'm so not the biggest priority, since there are iconmakers who do it way more often than I do. I have like 28 sets and I didn't get to post the last few. But how would the hosting from your domain work?

	Luckily haven't been hit but I figure it's inevitable. Question: how do you host images from your own domain? Because the only reason I was still with photobucket was the folder/library organization and the easy copying of all the direct links. Imgur I did try before but didn't find it user friendly for using anything more than one off things. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	It works much the same as PB. I'm working on a tutorial atm for auto generating all the icon image urls so you can c/p all the direct links into a table generator and bam. Takes about two seconds. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I'm using bouncewwb which was recommended by someone whose icons are still up lol. I bought the account because I want to make my own site anyway! But then I can make accounts specifically for iconners which I've aleqsdy started and I have unlimited space. So if You want to use mine for free you can! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I don't even understand what Photobucket thinks this is remotely fair, to ban all offsite linking unless you're willing to pay 400 a year. That's 2/3rds of my monthly income and then some (social assistance rates that have been static for a decade, yay).

I haven't been slapped down yet but I feel like it's only a matter of time before everything in my mod journal and all stress.my layout graphics at various character journals go poof and I don't even know where else to go because I've been using PB for so long. Some warning would've been nice to save us all some stress. All I know right now is it makes me borderline glad I haven't posted icons anywhere in forever.
