This is Jo! She's a hard-working, endlessly patient, salt of the earth type who moved to Canton Lake from Texas when she was ten. When all her friends were bound for College, Jo (aka Josephine Baker) was finding work so she could do fun things like pay bills and eat. Very much the parent in her family of two, Jo's Dad is known to be a degenerate gambler and alcoholic. Not an evil man, just a crappy dad, and general human being.

Doesn't hate his sister because she'll always be flighty but he knows and accepts what she's like. Hasn't seen much of her either in the last ten years.
