History:
Sol Lucis Caelum is technically a prince but not really. He was born in Hawaii and cannot go home to the Kingdom of Lucis where his father is from. He will never inherit his birthright or even see it. He grew up with his dads Noctis and Prompto on their chocobo ranch, attended public school, and generally lived the life of a regular kid on Oahu.
He is from an alternate future where Noctis and Prompto never leave Hawaii and they stay happily married while Sol grows up and starts his own life. Some shenanigans in the future caused him to be sent through time to the past where he lives with his fathers before he was born.
He tends to the ranch animals and helps care for the grounds. In his other time he attends school and attempts to start his life again in the past.
He can use magic like his father but he does not have the ability to summon the astral gods from home. He grew up an only child and worked on the ranch when he wasn't seeing friends or going to school. He practices magic with his dad and with the friends they made who are also magic users. He tries to use his magic for good in order to heal people or the chocobos at his ranch.
Personality:
Sol is a sweet kid who is enthusiastic about making new friends and once he likes someone he gets more excited when they are around him. Like his dad Prompto, he can get anxious easily and worries if he is being weird or isn't being recieved well. It's a bit easy to hurt his feelings. He is a little clingy since coming to the past and losing all his friends from home.
He loves animals and is gentle with them though he is often quiet about his feelings. He can talk ad nauseum about the things he likes and it is easy to get him to use his magical powers for you if you seem injured or even interested in what his magic looks like.
He has been taught some royal etiquette by his dad and he tries to uphold it with good posture, politeness, and excellent table manners, as well as knowing the complete history of Lucis, or as much as his dad remembered and could tell him. He tries to be an acceptable prince just in case he does get brought home with his parents.
