"Ah, I see," Bea said, though she was slightly disappointed that she wouldn't have a new acquaintance nearby. Bea had a way of making friends and was on some friendly term or another with most of her neighbors, but she could always use one more. Also, she'd never been in a situation where a handsome fellow couldn't quantify the awesomeness of the situation, so there was always that. That moment was a perfect example of that. And she'd thought she was going to have a boring afternoon!
"That's Pip," she said, smiling down as the dog made her way over to Raj, biting back the eagerness she wanted to display thanks to some training on Bea's behalf, and gently nuzzled one of his hands. "She's only a little bit of an asshole, and terribly friendly. She doesn't bite."
