Caitirin Icons

I won the Moderator's choice award in utena_awards just recently and I was particularly pleased with the icon, so I wanted to show it here.

If you'd like me to make an icon for you please comment here and ask. You will need to include with your request:

Right now I'm limiting requests to three a person, if not many people ask for one then I might expand it, but just three for now, please!

1. The Image you would like iconed - in case I don't know the series or the character. Please give me the image that you'd like and anything in particular that you'd like iconed about it (eg. characters face, characters hands, etc.). Optionally you can link to a base and I'll work with that :). I'll make icons of just about anything you ask for. I do best with anime/manga images but if there's something you'd really like, ask away.

2. Any text you'd like on the icon (if any) - text can be tricky, but I'll do the best I can to accommodate any textual requests :) Bear in mind though, that some of the best icons are textless. Please also let me know if you'd prefer a textless icon :)

3. Any particular style or theme that I've used before that you'd like me to use in iconing it - take a gander at my previous icons posted here (bonus points if you can link to a specific icon that I've done that you like the style/feel of.

4. Any other notes of importance

Join 100_challenge, an anime/manga icon challenge community. The basis of the challenge is choosing a character, pairing, or group and making 100 icons for the chosen subject. All skill levels are welcome to join, and claims are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Themes don't have to be completed in order, and there are no requirements as to how often or how little you can contribute per month.

Their mentality is that if you don't want someone stealing personal pictures of yourself, your family, or your children...you don't belong putting them on the Internet and it's your own damn fault so live with it.

There IS a way to prevent this from happening...

1. Open up admin console. http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/
2. For personal Journals, copy/paste the following: set latest_optout yes .
3. For communities, copy/paste the following: set "for" COMMUNITYNAME latest_optout yes . (where it says COMMUNITYNAME, delete that and type in the name of your community) [/quoting]

I've made another mood theme!

This one features Arisugawa Juri from Shoujo Kakumei Utena. I have to say... it was a bit hard going to find 134 unique moods out of a woman who seems to have only two moods: indifferent and enraged. But I soldiered on, and every single LJ mood icon is different.

So! Enjoy! And please credit caitirin in your user info page. This theme took a LONG time to finish.

Mood Themes!

An Utena mood theme, a Fruits Basket mood theme, and a Bunny Comic mood theme. The Utena and Fruits Basket mood themes are old ones, but I just now figured out how to upload them for sharing!

To use these themes, first download the .zip files, unzip them, and follow the instructions included in the text file named "Instructions"! You will need somewhere to host the files that allows remote image hosting. Photobucket.com will let you do this.
