As everybody here’s obviously in a deep magic sleep, I’m trying to bring a bit activity back to this community. ;-)
Well, but seriously, I’m rather new to this fandom and am desperately looking for like-minded people, who share the love with me. :-)

Favorite character(s)? I don't particularly have any favorite characters, but I suppose if I had to pick, it would be Jill.
Favorite book? The Silver Chair
Favorite anything else? Dunno.
When did you first read these books? When I was in about fifth grade I started to read the books after seeing them first mentioned in book I read for class, Bridge to Terebinthia (which amazingly enough has recently also been made into a movie by the same company as the Narnia series). While the Narnia books are not my favorite when it comes to fantasy type books, they are the ones that introduced me to the genre and so will have importance to me, especially in that they inspired me to start writing in that direction.

Favorite character(s)? Peter and The White Witch
Favorite book? The Magician's Nephew
Favorite anything else? I have to say that The Magician's Nephew was my favorite book although it is the only one I've read all the way through.
When did you first read these books?Sadly I'm a new fan of the series and have always liked these sort of epics. I first started reading them a little after the movie 'The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe' was released. I'm only about half way through the 2 second book but hope to read them all very soon. I want to read them before the release of any more of the motion pictures(ex: May 16, 2008). I'm looking forward to discussing these books with anyone.

Favorite character(s)? Aslan and Peter Pevensie
Favorite book? The Silver Chair
Favorite anything else? The entire world is so dense with magic and beauty that it's hard to narrow it down to any one thing about it that draws me in.
When did you first read these books? My mother first read them to me when I was four. I've been hooked ever since. If it wasn't for C.S. Lewis, I might not have found an interest in books at all, so I owe him immensely. ;)

Favorite character(s)? Edmund, Professor Kirke, and Susan
Favorite book? I really can't pick.
Favorite anything else? Not that I can think of at the moment.
When did you first read these books? My family's copy of LWW has teething chew marks on it from the first time Mom read it to me. I first read them for myself in the second grade.

Overall, I liked the new movie. I especially liked the way Professor Kirke was handled, the way he was simultaneously pumping Peter and Susan for information about whatever was through the wardrobe while not revealing that he had good reasons of his own apart from basic logic to assume Lucy was telling the truth. And also that look in his eyes when he says "Try me" at the end.

And I really don't get why I've gotten crazy looks from at least one person for saying my favorite character is Edmund. Sure he's a traitorous idiot at the beginning, but a title like "The Just" doesn't just drop out of the sky. He's certainly learned his lesson by Prince Caspian, and an argument could be made that by the end of Voyage of the Dawn Treader he's the first traveler to Narnia to have actually figured things out. I can get why people would have different favorite characters, but to give me the 'you must be disturbed look' for liking him? Is it just that so many people saw the movie and haven't read the other books?

Favorite character(s)? Susan, Eustace, and Bree
Favorite book? The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Favorite anything else? Uhm, my favorite location is Cair Paravel, hence the asylum's name. =P
When did you first read these books? When I was a small child. My mother had audio tapes of them, and I'd listen to them almost every night. We had other tapes, but these were my favorites. I grew a strong love for this series. I was ecstatic about a new film being released, but also worried. I'd hoped my childhood favorite wouldn't be like the Harry Potter films, but the movie was surprisingly accurate. I was also very glad to see that in an interview with William Moseley, he mentioned listening to Narnia audio tapes before falling asleep as a child, like I did. I'm anxious for the next. =3
