"I was recruited." Eithne said quietly over her glass. "Eragos thought it would do me some good and I knocked out Rider Vargis.. ah well Ex-Rider Vargis out with one punch. I thought they were there to arrest me." Eithne smiled suddenly and then she was laughing at the idea, the thought, the memory. It was a happy one, now, even if at the time she'd been absolutely terrified. Eragos had been less-than-happy that she'd just knocked his partner out, and Vargis was even more unhappy when he was woken up. Eithne had no chance of knocking Eragos out then, she'd done that later, but he'd knocked her out too.
More times than she could count. Bastard.
"The money was a lot better than what I got street fighting." Eithne tilted her head sharply to the side and it popped a few times, she shook her shoulders and relaxed back in the chair. The alcohol was starting to do a fine job.
"Or being a waitress.. or any of the other jobs I had between the temple and being a rider." Eithne got up and put down a handful of coins.
"I feel like a walk suddenly. Don't let me ruin your evening. I'll probably just find a quieter bar, or a louder one. Have fun, kids." She tipped an imaginary hat to them and then stalked out of the place.
She suddenly felt like being alone, that was it. Being alone. Because thinking of Eragos suddenly made her much more guilty than she thought it would. Not to mention, she wasn't sure that she was the best company when she was drunk.
