Concepts / Connections
Hiya all! My name is Joan, and since I don't know anyone in the holds deck and I've got two townies in mind, I thought it might do to reach out and talk connections :)
First up is Jeanne Hammond, ~45, owner of Mitzi's Diner. She's the kind of person who had a little too much encouragement growing up, from both friends and family, which convinced her that it was her destiny to leave town and become *something*. It was all she ever talked about -- likely to an obnoxious extent ( I wouldn't be surprised if most people just barely tolerated her ). Trouble was, she was never actually good at anything. Sure, she was pretty, but she was too graceless to model and couldn't act her way out of a paper sack. She waited tables at Mitzi's first to pay for her future career, then just to pay the bills. Slowly but surely, she stopped talking about leaving and just became one of the fixtures of the town. I'm thinking she might have inherited the diner, so to speak: when the owner decided to sell, her seniority at the place meant she got a great deal. I'm also pretty sure she has at least one kid to force all her failed aspirations onto >.>
Next is Kristy Higgins, 27, works at Suds N Strikes. She's a girl who is hooked on ghost stories, creepy pastas, conspiracies theories -- honestly anything in the realm of ~spooky~. Her greatest aspiration in life is to have a paranormal experience. But despite putting herself out there ( going ghost-hunting, playing with a Ouija board, she's even spent the night in the March house! ) she's got nothing to show for it -- hasn't even experienced a cold chill for her efforts. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, she still believes in ghosts, which makes her especially gullible.
If either of these galls checks a box that anyone might already have, I'd love to make the connection!
